The three-day forum is themed with "Green Innovation and Development, Smart Introducing the Future of Automobiles". The forum was jointly organized by the Equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Hunan Xiangjiang New Area Management Committee, and China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd., and invited academicians Zhong Zhihua, Ding Rongjun, Li Keqiang, Chinese Academy of Engineering. Academicians and other authoritative experts and scholars at home and abroad, leaders of auto parts and components, senior experts of equipment companies, etc., focused on hot topics such as access to intelligent connected vehicles in the automotive industry, hydrogen energy, carbon neutralization, independent replacement equipment, and automotive chips. This forum also set up the "Automobile Equipment Expo" with an exhibition area of ​​more than 1,000 square meters, inviting dozens of international, local and domestic independent equipment manufacturers to participate in the exhibition, focusing on intelligent network connection, new energy and low carbon, safety collision, electronic communication, etc. Four major test areas, comprehensively display equipment information at home and abroad, and create an authoritative and reliable equipment consulting platform.

In recent years, Hunan Province and Changsha City have insisted on placing the cultivation of the automobile industry chain in an important position, and successively issued the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Hunan Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry (2021-2025)" and "Changsha Intelligent Connected Vehicle Road Test". Policy documents such as the Detailed Rules for the Implementation and Management of Demonstration Applications (for Trial Implementation) V4.0”, to promote Changsha to accelerate the construction of a “city of intelligent driving”. At present, Changsha's automobile industry basically runs through the entire industrial life cycle chain from R&D, production, manufacturing to sales and service. It is also the only city in the country that has obtained four national licenses in the field of intelligent connected vehicles.
